Welcome to the cometcrones platform

Have you heard of Rick Masters or visited cometclones.com? How about Joe Faust and his worldparaglidingassociation.org (WPGA)?

No? Then try and keep it that way! If you have, and if you’re a paraglider pilot, you can probably already guess what this website is about and why it needs to exist. These guys seem hell-bent on damaging our sport through their persistent misrepresentation of accident information and the production of endless pages of garbage specifically designed to give readers a false picture of paragliding.

Read more about these websites on our cometclones website and WPGA website pages.

PDMC

The infamous PDMC

Have you seen the PDMC?

Also known as the “Paraglider Dead Man’s Curve”, the PDMC attempts to show that paragliding is simply too dangerous to be allowed.

It’s garbage.

It simply show the authors complete lack of knowledge & understanding of paragliding, mathematics, physics and presentation techniques.

Read more about this non-curve on our Comet Clones PDMC page.

MOTA

The cometclones fatalities lists

Have you seen the comet clones accident details?

These mainstream media reports pasted into his website try to paint a picture of paragliding as simply too dangerous to be allowed, but they are simply the results of the authors internet searches with links to mainstream news media reports. Nothing more.

His numbers are garbage.

His reports are incomplete, contain little factual information and are unreferenced. No conclusions can be drawn from such sensationalist rubbish.

Read more about this non-data on our Cometclones Numbers page.

WPA

The worldparaglidingassociation.org website

Are you a member of the WPGA?

Of course not.

The World Paragliding Association doesn’t exist. A website and some rambling text does not constitute an international association.

This website is garbage.

The author of this website sets about describing paragliders as gliding kites in a misguided attempt to redefine and disparage the sport.

Read more about this non-association on our WPGA website page.
